     c’mon, guys, do you really think Lebron is this great person? he’s part
    of a group of greedy fools who refused to play a game that they claim to
    love because $20 million a year wasn’t enough. teachers in Tacoma had
    to go on strike to make $50,000 and that’s the well paid ones, as far as
    teachers go. at that rate it’d take 400 years to reach the $20 million
    that isn’t enough for these fools; and, call me crazy, but I don’t think
    many are going to live that long. it’s teachers, farmers, EMTs, police
    officers, firefighters; that are essential to our country’s progression.
    yet they go terribly underappreciated and underpaid, that’s the expense
    of throwing millions at these fools who benefit nobody. the average
    American makes $1.6 million in their life. how many houses and cars do
    you think Lebron has thrown more than that away on.  not to mention
    designer clothes and a plethora of other things. then he gets millions
    more for advertising. is anyone really going to go to Mcdonald’s because
    Lebron is in a commercial. to add insult to injury these fools have the
    nerve to claim to “care”. all they care about is how many zeros are on
    their paycheck. the Heat spent $70,000 on champagne to celebrate the
    championship. if Lebron truly cared he’d donate 90% of his salary to help the poverty third world countries,
    make homeless shelters better places, to find cures for diseases. for
    those of you who don’t know the definition of hypocrite and epitome I
    invite you to look them up and you will see that Lebron is the epitome
    of a hypocrite

      They were locked out by greedy owners, they did not go on strike, and Lebron took less money than he could have, so your criticisms are off base.

      Okay for one, I can almost guarantee you are a hypocrite. Is 90% of your salary going to third wolrd countries? Do you even make a difference in your local community? Also, with the McDonalds commercial. The thing is that if you can remember things like “Oh remember when LeBron was on that McDonalds commercial” that right there is the reason they put celebrities on these commercials. Although you may feel it doesnt directly affect the reason you are going you still remember the commerical because he was in it. Also, I am planning on being a Police Officer and one thing people like you dont realize is that athletes train their whole life to make millions while many of the jobs you stated could ultimately be done by just about anyone. Proffessional Athletes are one in a million, the jobs you stated are not.

If its millions then so be it because you have no idea what it takes to keep your body in top condition as I know due to being a US Marine for 20 years and counting. Point your anger/hate towards wall street , Bankers , Auto industry and many more money booming crooks. I’m sure that Teachers, Fire fighters, Police Officers knew the money they were going to make when they applied for the job. I’m in the military and I’m not in it for the money. Please find another place to vent.

      When did he refuse to play? If you’re talking about the lockout, you’re an idiot. A strike is players refusing to play. A lockout is owners preventing players from playing.

      ^what? lebron took a big pay cut coming to miami. He seems like a wonderful person and never does anyone wrong. Just happy go lucky guy playing a game he loves. Don’t be bitter. Quite frankly lebron’s salary is a bit low in comparison to the owners of companies who keep paying themselves more and more, yet their employees are not getting any pay increases. Roger Godell from the NFL made 30+ million dollars… maybe gripe about him. or pujols getting 30 million a year. Or MJ in 1998 getting paid 33 million a year… It’s tough to talk though when you don’t know the person personally. He has worked very hard at his craft, and you can’t be upset that people want to throw money at great athletes. What about Rory signing a 200 million dollar nike contract! what about the cast of friends making 1 million dollars for every single episode they were in in the final season (24 i believe). Celebs make money, and that have institutions and charities that they donate too. Don’t be mad that he has the ability to buy a nice car. People don’t buy the big cars, then the workers who make them don’t have a job. Stop complaining, go buy a lottery ticket.

    Dear   Mr. LeBron James,

    My name is Janice Bush and I am the Board Chair for an
    organization called New Creations Life Center (NCLC).  NCLC is an organization with a focus on the
    homeless in South Arkansas. This is a vision of a young woman by the name of
    Sabrina King. Ms. King is a mother of six; she and her husband are committed to
    making a difference in the plight of the homeless and near homeless. Until I
    met this young lady I had no concept of what this population experienced in
    surviving day to day, I had no thought of the description of or appearance of a
    homeless person. Little did I know the extent of this problem, the number of
    teen homeless, the veteran homeless, or the definition of near homelessness, I
    have since been educated.

    In an effort to address this issue we have begun the
    renovations on a dwelling with the intent of making it a transitional first
    home for someone in need.

    We are seeking funds and fund raisers. We are making an
    effort to complete renovations on the first house and to acquire other houses
    to be made into homes all leading to the building of a primary facility. Our
    building plan and business plan are available on request. We are planning to
    again feed the homeless on Christmas or Thanksgiving or both if possible. We
    will also provide toys, gifts, personal need packets, shoes, clothes and take
    away food.

    We were considering a Mystery Dinner, a Purse (from famous
    people) auction, a shoe (from famous people) auction, pancake breakfast with
    will require some funding, just to name a few.

    I know you must get tired of hearing about comparisons to Jordan and Kobe.  The only thing I would take from the recent dialogue is to continue to work on your game, such as going to your right and pulling up, or work on going to your left, crossing over, and pulling up on your right.

    Lebron, you’re the best player in the game.  Everyone loves playing with you.  And I like your comment about greatness is not determined by the number of rings one attained.
