Next time you’re on Miami Beach, you need to do yourself a favor and stop by Yardbird Southern Table and Bar, or for short, you can just call it Yardbird. The restaurant itself has just been open for a little more than six months, but its southern-comfort-food concept has been making headlines locally in Miami and nationwide. Even the New York Times had to check the spot out for themselves recently.
Yardbird has a mixture of Fried Chicken, Seafood, Ribs and Steak dishes. Along with salads and tons of southern style sides like the seasoned fries and the amazing Macaroni & Cheese (both pictured below). And their “Run Chicken Run” slogan (and website domain) is simply genius. Look below for a couple photos of items off their afternoon menu. However, do note that they are open for lunch, dinner and have an extended Brunch serving on weekends.
Recommendations: Mama’s Chicken Biscuits, Shrimp N Grits and Llewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken.
