We all know Call of Duty is the biggest and best selling franchise right now on consoles. For almost ten years, we’ve been able to count on Activision to release a new title annually to take online and compete, with their “Modern Warfare” series leading the way.
Developers Treyarch and Infinity Ward play the round-robin each year to make sure we get a new, fresh dose of COD every November. With Infinity Ward dropping COD: Modern Warfare 3 last fall, it’s Treyarch’s turn to step to the plate. This week, they came out swinging with the release trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, a futuristic follow-up to their 2010 release of the first of the Black Ops series.
