1. Tell us about you.
I am from Russell Kansas where I have lived most of my life. Right now I’m in college working towards something in the business field. I’ve been a basketball fan since as long as I can remember. I had a miniature Michael Jordan goal when I was 3. I started watching the NBA when I was in 2nd grade and have been a fan of it since. Basketball is the only sport that I played in school, and I think it is hard for people to understand the love that I have for the game. LeBron made my passion for the game even stronger because it is inspiring to see what he has been able to accomplish coming straight out of high school.

2. How long have you been a LeBron fan? And what was the first piece of gear that you ever bought?
I’ve been a LeBron fan since day one. I probably heard about him when he was in high school because he was getting a lot of hype. Even though I live in Kansas, our satellite got FSN Ohio for some reason, so I got to watch all of the Cavs games. It was destiny because it just happened to be LeBron’s rookie year. I’ve watched every LeBron game of his entire career whether it be regular season, playoffs, pre-season, summer league, Olympics etc. I have some of his high school games on tape, and it is interesting to see how he has developed as a basketball player over the years. It’s been fun to watch. A few years back, I also won a meet and greet with LeBron through Powerade. It boggled my mind because what are the odds that a fan as big as me gets that kind of opportunity. It was truly a blessing straight from God.
The first LeBron item that I had was probably the high school card that came out of Sports Illustrated for Kids. I also had some Zoom LeBron II’s as a kid that I wore for years until they completely fell apart.
3. How many pieces of LeBron & Heat gear do you have total? And what are your favorite pieces that you’ve collected so far?
I’m not sure on the exact number, but I know you can’t have too much LeBron stuff. If I could afford it, I’d have every LeBron shoe known to mankind. The Galaxy 9’s are nice. The favorite thing that I have is probably my framed autographed LeBron picture, which I also got from Powerade. Some of the cards I have are pretty nice too, but I like the half LeBron half Jordan jersey card the best. Have to love the South Beaches as well.
4. Who would you like to see LeBron & the Heat play in the 2012 NBA Finals?
I don’t really care who they play as long as they win. I wouldn’t mind seeing LeBron get revenge on the Spurs and dunking all over Tim Duncan again. About every day I dream of what it would be like for LeBron to win the championship. I can’t even fathom the emotion that I would feel if we won the ring. All I know is that I would be the happiest human being in history. Nothing would be sweeter then that first one and finally getting over the hump. It will be nice shutting up all the haters and all the people that said LeBron would never win a ring. I want to see him on that Wheaties box.

5. Do you have any shoutouts or messages that you want to send out?
First, I want to shout out my family and friends that have put up with me talking about LeBron all the time. I want to congratulate LeBron on winning his 3rd MVP. I know he has three or four MVP’s left in him. Thanks to Jay Bobo and lebronjames.com for putting this together, it means a lot to me. Shout out to #TeamLeBron and all the LeBron fans, I’m glad I am not the only LeBron freak out there. Also, follow me on twitter if you are a LeBron fan because I don’t have many followers. This is our year Heat fans.
