Sunday night, HOT 97 took over MET Life stadium in East Rutherford, NJ for their annual Summer Jam concert, which some deem as “The Superbowl of Hip-Hop Concerts.” The show featured performances from Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Nas, Lauryn Hill, Waka Flocka Flame, Pusha T, French Montana, Maino, Tyga, Rick Ross, Mase, T.I., Ne-Yo, Meek Mill, Wale, Trey Songz and J.Cole. Nicki Minaj was scheduled to appear as well but comments made by Peter Rosenberg during the pre-show and orders from her boss, Lil Wayne gave orders not to perform. Drats.
