Fun. have vowed to make a [firm] statement in the musical world, and fresh off the heels of the band’s thrilling MTV Movie Awards performance, Nate Reuss and company march to the beat of their own drum in the combat-fueled visual for “Some Nights,” the Anthony Mandler directed clip, which is also the title track from Fun.’s Billboard chart topping album (that debuted at #3.) The song was produced by the well-renowned hit-maker Jeff Bhasker, who has previously handled production for the likes of Alicia Keys and Kanye West, among many others.
There’s no real fun (happy-go-lucky theme) drawn into this awe-inspiring clip – a grittier side is more like it – and its gunfight galore. So how could you honestly deny the in-depth creativity?
