In the early 2000s, ESPN’s “The Life” was a documentary styled show with a hip-hop flair that profiled some of our favorite players of the time including Allen Iverson, Shaq, Brian Urlacher, Mike Bibby, Kevin Garnett and tons more. Besides the great theme music from Tribeca, Pharoahe Monch, & Mystic, “The Life” brought us an inside look into professional athletes that we never were able to get from their televised games alone.
