With almost 1 million views, this trailer set the internet on fire when it was released this week.

Fans of last Summer’s blockbuster comic book film The Avengers are in for a treat, as Joss Whedon, the director of the movie (and the upcoming sequel), will help develop this spin-off TV series about S.H.I.E.L.D., the espionage agency that has played a role in several of Marvel’s recent movie releases.

Doin’ It In The Park: A B-Ball Documentary

“You can play high school or college for four years. You can play Pro for a decade. You can play pick-up … for life.”

Hip-hop legend and NYC street ball enthusiast, Bobbito Garcia (of Stretch & Bobbito fame) teamed up with Kevin Couliau to make a documentary film on the history, culture, and social impact of New York’s summer b-ball scene, often recognized as the “Mecca” of the sport.

Doin It In The Park, a 60 minute documentary filmed entirely on a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon 1D Mark IV.

There are over 700+ b-ball courts in New York City and an estimated half a million players that play on the frequent in the streets of NYC. Bobbito and Kevin visited over 180 of those 700+ courts to film for Doin’ It In The Park.

Main film characters: Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Kenny Smith, “Pee Wee” Kirkland, “Fly” Williams, God Shammgod, Tim “Headache” Gittens, Corey “Homicide” Williams, Kenny Anderson, Jack Ryan, Richard “Crazy Legs” Colon, Niki Avery, Milani Malik, and the Park Pick-Up Players of NYC.

The film has gotten various screenings and premieres across the country, but it has also recently offered the film for sale online for a simple and high quality download, which you can purchase here.

After a two year hiatus, The LeBrons are finally back for a second season. As you know, the four alter egos of LeBron (Business, Wise, Athlete, and Kid) were once part of a classic promo campaign with Nike and have since become an animated series on Youtube. This season, the show goes full 3D.
