UNINTERRUPTED Team Grows With Gotham Chopra & Devin Johnson

The UNINTERRUPTED momentum continued this week with the announcement that acclaimed filmmaker Gotham Chopra and his Religion of Sports creative team would join forces with UNINTERRUPTED to create original content. As an Executive Producer, Chopra will help advise the company and its creative direction and bring original ideas for digital programming. With his previous works including sports documentaries Kobe Bryant’s Muse, The Little Master on Indian cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar that ran as part of ESPN’s award winning ‘30 for 30’ film series, and his latest film I am Giant on NY Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, Chopra’s unique storytelling style brings a deeper perspective into the athlete experience. Chopra’s creative team is also committed to producing two original series “72 Hours” and “The Greatness Code” with UNINTERRUPTED.

Chopra joins the UNINTERRUPTED team that is now led by new General Manager, Devin C. Johnson, who oversees the platform’s daily operations and strategic direction. As the former head of digital media for Tribune Broadcasting, Johnson brings with him more than 15 years of experience in digital media and developing content ventures. Previously, Johnson served in a multitude of digital executive roles at NBC Universal and was instrumental in developing the global company’s Digital Innovation efforts. Prior to joining Tribune, Johnson spent time as the Chief Operating Officer of Studio One Networks, a brand-aligned content creation and distribution company.

Entertainment and Turner Sports who in November announced a $15.8 million investment in the platform’s digital offerings.
